Hey all! We are here in Gemena and have spent some time at the Elikya center already! The first thing we saw when we got there were some brand new sewing machines!
There were a lot of happy tears when we realized that the sewing machines we were looking at were purchased by the sale of aprons at hope. We were able to see that project come full circle!!!
Thank you to all of the team at Hope involved in that process!
I have some pictures to start posting, and a number of the team have expressed interest in posting their own thoughts on the blog soon!
We will work on those this evening (but first it is time to have supper!!)
Anything we post will probably be in the next 3 hours (then they turn the generator off).

Hey there! Way to go on arriving at Gemena, without incident it sounds like, and amazing that it all worked for the sewing machines to be there already. Will look forward to your notes.:)
